Concord United Methodist Church
FARRAGUT, TN
A contemporary worship center and youth wing designed to complement distinctive existing architecture. A master plan process helped the church find a feasible way to retain and expand its campus. The new worship space retains the heritage of the original sanctuary while providing all the AV and theatrical lighting necessary for a powerful contemporary sevice. Connecting to the existing church was an opportunity to create a significant gathering area. Youth classrooms are organized along an open concourse.
Peace Lutheran Church
KNOXVILLE, TN
Addition of a one-story 5,200 square foot education wing, and exterior and entry tower renovations. Exposed roof structure and simple building forms with lower view windows and higher windows for daylighting unify the existing and new structures.

Renovation of existing worship center and atrium lobby to upgrade finishes, improve wayfinding, increase seating capacity from 1,150 to 1,800, replace pews with theatre style seating and place a new cross at the focal point of the worship space.
