Brewer Ingram Fuller’s East Tennessee Veterans Memorial project has received a 2009 Award of Excellence from the Knoxville/Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission. The 28th annual Excellence Awards recognize developers, designers and neighborhood activists who work to improve the community. Details of the award may be found here.
The Brewer Ingram Fuller Sustainable Design Award has been established at the University of Tennessee with an endowed gift from the firm. The purpose of the award is to help students in the College of Architecture and Design earn industry-recognized credentials in the area of sustainable design.
Brewer Ingram Fuller is one of the first area companies to be recognized by the Knoxville Chamber as a green business. As the Chamber website says, “Becoming a green business requires developing an attitude of sustainability and implementing conservation practices into everyday business operations.” We are proud to have received this designation and continue to commit ourselves to be even better stewards of our resources.
- The James Park House Adaptive Reuse project has received a 2008 Merit Award from AIA East Tennessee. It received an Award of Excellence from AIA Tennessee in 2007.
